Open Question:

Help For My Chemistry ISA Exam?

The Hypothesis: The amount of carbonate in an ore sample can be measured by adding hydrochloric acid to the sample until it stops fizzing. I need help on filling in the following areas: The method (I need to write it so a year 6 will be able to understand and do the experiment. I am year 10) The equipment: I already have beaker, hydrochloric acid and ore sample but surely there must be more equipment than that. Risk assessment issues: I already have wear goggles in case the acid gets into your eyes whilst its fizzing and wear gloves to protect your hands from fizzing carbonate. In the context I need to write about how does the experiment you have planned relate to the context of the investigation. I also need to consider the independent variable, control variable and the dependent variable. Many thanks.
